Charles Leclerc has pushed back on Carlos Sainz's suggestion that a driver who causes a red flag in qualifying should take a three place grid drop. "I don't think it should become a general rule," Leclerc said. "The person who ultimately ends up in the wall already pays a considerable price. That driver doesn't finish his lap, even though that lap might have been good enough for a strong starting position. As a general rule, I don't really find it logical.
